Sadly not. All I get is the welcome/select language screen then the select wi-fi page. There's no way to access the menu, the top right hand corner only has the battery icon and wi-fi icon. Are you able to skip the whole setup and get to the menu > system settings > input/keyboard?
Some silly-sounding questions, because it's always very difficult to gauge a new member's expertise, so no offense intended:
1. Does anything happen at all when you tap the password entry field?
2. Is the screen clean?
3. Are you using your bare hands, or are you wearing gloves?
4. I don't remember how it was when I initially set up my N7, but it seems odd that you aren't able to skip the Wifi page. Any way you could snap a photo of the screen and post it?
Are you rooted and do anything that could have conflicted with the Keyboard (e.g. delete stock files or .apk's)?
No I didn't.Did you have a Bluetooth keyboard linked to the device before you did the reset? It should've been cleared out anyway after the reset, but just trying to brainstorm for ideas here ...
Reboot into recovery and factory reset and clear cache. Reboot and see if that fixes the issue. Otherwise, you can load a stock factory image and return to complete stock, as if you just received and opened you Nexus 7. Here is the guide to return back to stock: http://forums.androidcentral.com/ne...1477-guide-nexus-7-factory-image-restore.html
No joy with reset and clear cache. I'll give the factory image restore a go, but in the meantime thanks for your efforts.
