Recently swapped over from iOS to a Nexus 6P and I have had a good experience until the June update..

My notifications for apps such as Snapchat and Whatsapp are completely missing, and sometimes randomly load or buffer all at once or wont trigger any notification until I ENTER the app!
I cannot find ANYTHING online to resolve this and have tried to clear cache data etc.
Sometimes I noticed turning my phone's location setting on and off helped it, but still I am clueless.

Any help would be appreciated; I'm bordering switching back now because this issue has actually caused quite a lot of problems for me with no solution in sight...

Welcome to Android Central! First, go to Settings>Data Usage, tap Menu, and make sure it doesn't say "Allow Background Data." (If you see that, this would mean Restrict Background Data somehow got turned on.)

If that looks fine, then try wiping the cache partition:

Cannot confirm if it worked, but have not had the problem since! Thanks for this, I will post with any updates if anything arises again...
