Missing Upload Download Arrows

Hi all,

Got my Verizon Moto X yesterday and noticed something weird after the Kit Kat update. I have a 4G LTE indicator in the status bar but the upload and download arrows showing data transfer do not show up underneath the icon. They did work before the update, but now nothing. I am getting and sending data, but no arrows are lighting up. Any clues or ideas what might be wrong? I rebooted the phone and even toggled airplane mode, but no change.

I'm pretty sure its a Kit Kat thing. Google took that out of Android. I, like you, thought they were useful, but I guess we don't get that anymore.

its a 4.4 feature lol.. google removed that from Android. it only shows up on quick settings now.

Under quick settings pulldown now. Rendering those arrows was processor intensive
