MIUI brought to you by Vicious(11-17-2011) Fully Working Now!!

I still couldn't find that xml file that you're talking about. That's ok, man. I gave up. I already deleted it and put something else instead. Thanx anyways.

Let me clarify. If you're using the miui clock widget from the rom you can't change. But if you're using the mclock widget with the miui skin then you can. Here's a link to what I'm talking about

Side Note: If you hold the home button while on the lockscreen it turns on the torch app for fast flashlight access. Pretty cool

Hehe, nice. I stumbled on that link yesterday or the other day looking for mclocks. But ya, I'll check it out still. Thanx for the torch access on the lockscreen though. :D

This ROM would be my favorite if the MMS was working! When will this be fixed??

Just use GoSMS or Handscent, etc. Those apps have more features anyways

It's the ROM, not the messaging app - I haven't tried the newest build, but as far as I'm aware it's unable to receive MMS, even though Handcent or GoSMS (or I'm on an older version that couldn't even through third party apps).

What is the preferred Kernel?

Quick tip I only learned today - when moving icons, long hold the icon and then use the other hand to swipe the screen. I was getting insanely frustrated at how hard it was to slide one icon to the edge of the screen and have the screen change that way.

so, Release 5---we good to just flash it over top Version 4 without wiping anything?
update: flashed overtop of 4, everything's up and running fine.

still can't get a GPS lock on stock-kernel.

LOL.....you to huh. That seemed like the most complex task out of the entire Android operating system ("for me at least.") Thanks for the tip!!

When you flashed on top of 4, did it preserve your homescreen lay out?

(I'm using imoseyon's 5.0.4 kernel and haven't had any GPS lock issues).

yup--home screen layout stayed the same (including AltLauncher)--but i exported my preferences to sd before flashing, just to be safe

after flashing & rebooting, i had to re-enter my gmail account info and then the home screen came up just like normal--everything already customized.

thanks--i'll dl&fl that kernel and hope for the best.
that's really my only complaint with this ROM--which could be user error--but it's still preventing me from fully enjoying this at the moment.
flashed it & flashed some different radios--but still 'searching for GPS' when actually trying to Navigate.

so, question
1) can you actually 'navigate'? (not just get directions, but have voice guidance)
2) what is your baseband version (both #'s)
3) what kernel are you using?
greatly greatly appreciated.

also--a little thing:
Anyone know how to save an attachment in either the gmail or stack email App? Makes it hard to flash kernels when you can't save attachments, only open them. other rom stock email apps allowed me to save when gmail did not.

Hmm, I wonder what the difference is

-Sent from my Mecha running Miui

been having the problem since first flashing this ROM, and after upgrading to V5, and after flashing a different kernel & upgrading my radios.

what baseband version/kernel are you?

i can view a broad location but when attempting to Navigate (ie voice directions) or use 'nearby' on google+, it just hangs there and never actually locks.
i can't stand not having GPS--as i've found myself in 3 situations in the past week in which i need it. hoping for a fix.
