This is a very sexy rom. Only problem I have is with the music app. It says Unknown Artist for all of my music.
I've got my music stored in the Music folder of my sd card (see below for folder structure).
I also have double twist installed and it shows the artists correctly
I tired MediaFix from the market and it didn't seem to do anything.
I also cleared the cache for media storage.
I'm running the current stable version of MIUI (Vicious-MIUI-1.11.17-signed)
I did not flash a kernal
I wipped everything before installing
Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi folks, I've been reading a ton of stuff on here and looking for the right ROM to flash. This will be my first flash after rooting my Thunderbolt. The main reason for rooting was to tether my 3 & 4 G to my Motorola Xoom. I bought the Tab outright and decided not to have service on it through Verizon. I already have five phones on the service but just needed a tablet for other workings. So i'm left with only wi-fi for data connection. I wanted to tether my Thunderbolt for mobile use and see how it does.
Seems after rooting was still unable to tether properly, looks like a couple of files in the original gingerbread ROM (cant remember exactly but were labeled tethering ) I assume this was some function that somehow linked the data usage and locked out the feature unless activated with Verizon as a service for AP.
so I'm flashing this ROM as soon as it downloads and taken it for a spin.
Maybe someone could advise as to how to complete the setup for tethering. Sorry for the lack of details as my rig is off at the moment, making an ISO of the SD card and moving some other files waiting dor the new ROM.

So on RootzWiki there is a more updated version (updated weekly) thread here
I downloaded the 1.11.25 version, wiped cache and div cache, flashed the rom and got into a boot loop. Anyone know the best way to flash this without wiping data? I'd ask there but I don't have permission to post in that thread.

Problems are as follows:
1. No GPS lock. It could be because I'm indoors.
2. Can't send an MMS using Handcent or GoSMS Pro.
3. Bluetooth is paired but will not connect.
Not as important, but can I turn the volume down on boot screen intro? It is so LOUD!!

GPS worked fine for me when I was on MIUI, but because of lack of MMS and wifi tether, I went back to bamf FE. I can't wait for it to be fully functional, I definitely want to use it as my daily driver.

A good rule of thumb for the thunderbolt, when flashing new rom's is to get a solid gps location on your device right before you flash, then you won't run into gps location problems.
Backup your phone as it sits now, flash a sense rom backup you have, boot up and get a solid gps lock (let it lock in for a couple minutes), then go into rom manager and restore your current rom.

I have had same bootloop and bluetooth issues.
For bootloop fix, I flashed stable release 3 then flashed latest over it and havent had a bootloop so far today.
For bluetooth, I had to unpair BT then pair and connect again...seems to be working so far, but just did that a few hours ago. Come tomorrow, who knows if it will still connect.

if it helps anyone, i went from .17 to .29 with just wiping cache and dalvik not doing a system wipe. have no problems at all. also installed the zoom kernel. greatly improved the headset audio buzzing.
