MIUI Help. Rom failed

Please help. i rooted my htc evo 4G. rom doesnt function properly, how do i re-root it?

Your ROM doesn't function properly? What ROM did you use? You can re flash the same ROM, that may help. There could be a list if things wrong but need to be specific on what's not working properly

well i used the miui rom, flashed it on my evo about eight months ago. it was the 1.9.30 update. then i got bored of it and wanted to flash another rom, tried RomManager from clockwork mods and that completely screwed up my phone. i forgot which rom i tried to flash but my phone wouldnt turn on completely after that. So i went into HBOOT and recovered my miui rom back to the last update. didnt do anything and still didnt turn on all the way, still got stuck on a loading animation. re flashed my first miui rom, the 1.9.30 one and phone works, but really crappily. signal always goes in and out constantly, shows that it has full signal and i either try to make a call, send a text, or browse the web and signal just drops completely. so yesterday i tried to reflash the newest miui rom, 1.12.30 and still have all the same problems, except now i cant receive calls. my phones displays incoming calls, but now when i answer them they force close. still can text and make calls, just cant receive them for some reason.. so now i just wana clear everything and start from scratch to flash the miui rom again, or even go back to stock.. i honestly dont care as long as i have a fully functional phone again haha

Sounds like your having radio firmware issues. Have you tried to reflash the radio files alone. Maybe u got a bad download. Radio files can really screw with the phone if they aren't made to run with the ROM tour using. I'm not an evo user but I say your best bet would be to reflash stock in recovery, hope you made a nandroid backup or something. If not download a detoxed version of ota and see if that corrects the problem.

i believe i did a nandroid backup. not a hundred percent sure though.. How do i go about finding that out? or reflashing the stock in recovery? sorry with all the questions I'm just really oblivious to this stuff

If you used ROM manager then you can flash clockwork recovery to go back to stock. Or if you made a stock backup it will be there. I think your best bet is to download an official ota and flash that to get you back to normal.

yeah i cant flash back to recovery with clockwork cuz thats what messed up my phone. how would i go about doing the ota?
