MIUI Ported to the X

Question,

Has anyone gotten Root Tools by JRummy16 to work on MIUI 1.8.5? I tried to change the font and it was a no go after I rebooted the phone. Sysctl Config settings through the app seems to be working though. I would love if the devs of MIUI implemented gestures into the launcher. For example swiping down pulls the notification bar down. I miss that from ADW EX, but I like the stock MIUI launcher a little bit better so there's no turning back.

Back on MIUI(1.8.5) since they went back to the older browser style,but if you liked the newer style you can get it in the market .

1.8.5 is the latest? Is the theme manager force closing fixed?

I used theme manager on last weeks fine too, but I did have to go to stock theme and reboot to switch themes works fabulous!

i am digging this rom. one for the fact it's so customizable, i really dont know where to start. put my Beautiful Weather on the front, but as far as the rest of customizing, just found a theme or three to try out.

does that quickclock really take it up a notch? is it that noticeable?

I believe it has to do with the UI that doesn't allow me to change the font. But I'm sure other aspects should be able to be changed in the build.prop settings. If anyone has successfully changed the font, please let me know how you were able to accomplish this.

Also, has anyone successfully changed the LCD settings?

I just saw where yo can change fonts within the settings of MIUI. I'm tweeting in to say I just found the APP KILLER........AWESOME!!!

Having trouble finding the screenshot deal..any help??

As far as I know the built in screenshot doesn't work right now. It makes the noise but doesn't save it anywhere. To take a screenshot you press the volume down and menu buttons at the same time.

I just left the MIUI irc channel and after getting the people in there to stop talking sex talk, I got out of two of them that the screen shot save location bug is known and being worked on possibly for next Friday's release. We shall see.

Yeah i concluded that the built in screenshot wasnt working on the new release. Since the screenshot i tested with was no where to be found. Lol

I couldn't get Drocap2 to work either but Shootme is working for me.

I tried MIUI a couple weeks ago and couldn't find the visual voicemail application that comes standard on the X. I also couldn't install the one from the market either because it said I needed to use the application that comes on the Droid... anyone know if the VVM is included in the latest MIUI?

If your interested in a popular alternative voicemail (free texting as well) try Google Voice. It will put it to words as well.
Note: I flashed Imoseyons hack and it took if anyone's interested, yes I'm a Imoseyon fan boy..

Thanks for the info. I found the ability to change the size, I was trying to change the style.

Edit: I figured out how to change the font style.

Have you tried V6 charger? It works really well. And would you recommend using Imoseyon and V6 charger?
