MIUI Ported to the X

Yes it should already be here actually now that the OG Droid and Droid Milestone have it. Yes we and the D2 are the last model in the MOTO line to get it so within hours 1.8.2.6 should drop. Its currently 215p here in Central Jersey waiting for the update to drop and the wanna be hurricane to hit later tonight. Love weekends!

Hey if it does hit PLEASE POST A VID HERE, just the same be safe out there. ;-)

The hurricane done pass by here ,it missed (just hit the outer banks instead).I was prepaired to make a vid but nothing happened close by to video, lol
Update:
On a serious note 5 people lost their lives from the hurricane on the outer banks

Well according to Framework himself and because of the conditions and forums posts MIUI wide, I dont think we will see an update today. He left a couple hours ago to get out of the storms path. Not sure if he was in the mandatory evac areas. I am in a voluntary evacuation zone right now(Middlesex Cty NJ) and TWC says its down to 80mph winds so it may not be that bad tonite. The D2 and DX are the only two MIUI.US devices left not to get .2.6. Im gona charge my laptop and spare battery now and check back after dinner time. Irene is in VA. The rain has started here.

Can someone post when the rom is fix to where it no longer drops your service. I loved miui but could not deal with it losing my service two or three times a day.

no it was turning that off. My phone would have an x and no signal. Nothing would work until I reset my phone.

I was kind of digging that keyboard MIUI started it out with from the start, it kinda looked like the Iphone keyboard, anybody know where we could find that?

WE SURVIVED ARMAGGEDON!!!
Just kiddin we had heavy rain thats all. Im helpin with cleanup round the neighborhood now. My apps got scrambled all over my screens again when I woke up today.

I did and it found a bad file under apps but wont tell me what it is and also in Setings wants me to uncheck usb debugging which I know I dont really have to. Does it send a log somewhere? Not deleting what I dont know

The file it wanted deleted was Superuser. Kinda need that lol. It wanted to kill unknown sources, usb debugging and superuser total. So overall Ill wait til Framework drops our update and see if it fixes the app mess.

When an infection is found, u can hit ignore or take action. Or whatever its called. When you select that one, it brought up the un-installer and Superuser was the app. Further Googling turned this up as well for other users of AVG. Under settings findings is where it will tell you about usb debugging and uknown sources. I looked for some log files or somethin previously cuz I hit ignore the first time under the app but didnt find any. So I rolled the dice hoping it wouldnt do it automatically and luckily it doesnt. But now I know. Thanks for the AVG direction Jedi

It is gingerbread, only on froyos' kernel. Word is that work is being done to hijack the gingerbread kernel as well, could be interesting.
