For those curious, MIUI 1.9.16 with JakeBites Mod on the latest Superuser 3.0 + v6 supercharger on 1000 setting works fantastic! For example, after 10 hours of very little use I am on 80% battery life (while underclocked). I highly recommend that everyone try it out. Also, as a disclaimer underclocking may not work with your phone. URL provided below:

@jerseyboy That jacobbites mod knocked out the Quickclock advanced on my phone, was this the same for you? ANyway I tried to revert back and that took all my Superuser privileges, even though the stock app said all was good. I tried to flash a back up but Rom Manager, Titanium back up, and some other apps were out, none had superuser rights but again the stock app said they did, anyway, I downloaded the Superuser app from MArket and all is good after that. Saved me an SBF. Oddly now everything is working, JacobMod and the QuickClock app.

Bottom line, Get the Superuser app from the MArket!!

The app dev sent me an e-mail telling me to set at boot with a delay of at least one full minute. Once Im charged up I am going to try that. He is un-aware of MIUI or any clashes so isnt much help right now.

Yea that superuser thing happened to me too. You have to have the market Superuser app along with the MIUI built in one or you will run into problems. Once I reconfigured that, I didnt have more problems. I guess the market one is the Master and the ROM one is the slave. I think. I dont know. Im not messing with it anymore i know that,lol

Did you have any issues updating to this rom through ROM Manager? I haven't tried yet but I was curious because I heard some people had issues. Also, do you think the MIUI browser is better, worse or the same as Dolphin HD?

You should definitely upgrade to 1.9.16 as it runs very smooth.

gonna do it tonight.. tried it at work but rsd lite didnt play well with win7 64 bit and didnt have time to mess with it, so will do it at home. How is .23 vs. .16?

Good question, I had most of mods in place before the update and some scripts that needed a Busybox version under 1.18.2, the update loaded 1.19. and screwed everything up on my phone, even after checking to see if superuser was running. Anyway, my backup of 1.19.6.1 was a godsend. If your on stock MIUI then your gonna love this new build. I'm on the fence here whether or not to try this update again since I have all these hacks in place already.

Rom Manager had no issues at all. And yes I like the MIUI browser alot better. Seems faster and easier for me to navigate, especially with all the bookmarks I can have.

Took me less than ten mins to re-run the script mods(including the reboots needed) and Im back where we were before running smooth on awesome batt life. Even with wi-fi always on. And my two homescreen widgets. Jakes mod, V6supercharger and fastest.sh are all running good in the hood.
