MIUI Ported to the X

Puttin this here cuz it's what ROM I'm running it on.
QCA doesnt seem to be sticking. I go thru and set a profile(in sig), back out and go to Settings>System>About Phone and it says Processor 1.3ghz
I let my phone sit for a while, maybe do some things to it, use it, reboot it, whichever, and after a while I go back to About Phone and the processor info is back to 1.0 So I go back into QCA and everything is set back to default(300/1000) so I have to re-load profile Balanced and Set CPU. I sent an email to the dev too, jsut wanted to see if anyone else is running into this. Plus I'm off from work today and bored.

select whatever profile you want to use then go to advanced on the bottom of the main menu, select boot, and then enable it.

Jersey, I noticed you were using the "Ride the Dragon" theme. I am having trouble getting any of those wall paper/boot animations to work.

Are you using Root explorer to move files around? I am trying to use Astro with no luck.

Are you d/l those files right to you're phone or a computer first?

I would have posted these questions in the MIUI forum but for some reason I do not have posting privileges there?!?!

For those curious, MIUI 1.9.16 with JakeBites Mod on the latest Superuser 3.0 + v6 supercharger on 1000 setting works fantastic! For example, after 10 hours of very little use I am on 80% battery life (while underclocked). I highly recommend that everyone try it out. Also, as a disclaimer underclocking may not work with your phone. URL provided below:

(1000 setting? Which # is that? ) This is great news. Is the camera and video able to do 720p?

You use Root Explorer. With root explorer go to /data/system/theme/boots and delete the existing bootanimation.zip file. Then place the custom bootanimation.zip into /system/media folder, reboot it and good to go.

There's a file that QCA saves to your SD. Delete that and then start from scratch.

Ok I went thru my SD and didnt see where this file is you speak of and before I start deleting things, can you tell me the name of the file or its locale? Thanks.

I just ran it thru CWR and it installed but went so fast I didnt really see what it did. I just ran the v6 supercharger update settings so I guess combined with this its good to go. Thanks for the link. When I rebooted my battery reads 50, before doing all this it read 30.

HP 1000 settings from the most recent v6 Supercharger update (Update #9. Beta 4.1). It's #9. Link to the page is below:

xda-developers - View Single Post - [Script][U9 Beta 6.1] V6 SuperCharger! The ONLY Android MEMORY FIXER! 3G & KAK!

It looks like the updated v6 Supercharger again so grab the update. :) I don't know if we could do 720p yet.

Correction: Use 512HP settings instead. I believe it didn't recognize the amount of RAM I had so I used 1000 by mistake. It didn't cause any harm but I don't want to overheat my phone.

You're welcome. This is why AC forums are so great. We try our best to help each other without sarcasm or immediate criticism.

Worked perfect! BUT....I decided to create a new folder on the sd card called "boot animations". I then saved the red dragon file as "reddragon.zip" When I copy and paste into system/media the boot animation doesn't work.

It only works when I keep the file name at its default.

Any idea why? I would love to organize these suckers!

In the script the command to run the jpg string aka boot animation was scripted to run on "bootanimation" I know what you mean though one time I renamed them because I had multiple anims on and it didnt work.

Not seeing that file on my SD anywhere. Did a search too. Found the backup filles in my /MIUI folder so I deleted everything I could, un-installed the app now gona re-install and see if that helps.

Ok, then that just means you didn't enable the overclock at boot.
