Is anyone else having issues sending or receiving MMS messages after upgrading? I did a full wipe and double checked my APNs.

Messenger app.
Cricket wireless.

I tried "default, mms, fota, hipri, supl" and I get message not sent service not activated on network.

Then I tried "default, mms, fota, supl" and it sends, but it is received from a different random number every time?

UPDATE: it seems to be an issue with messenger. I can send and receive with textra and hangouts with no issues.

I use Google Messenger on Cricket. Not having any issues w/it from the time I flashed MM around 7pm on 10/5/15. Definitely not affecting everyone. Sorry to hear about it.

I AM looking to change to another SMS app that offers easy backup of all my messages, but that's for another thread :)

Same thing with hangouts on Nexus 5. Seems to intermittently drop provider connection causing everything to stop working.

Pushbullet is breaking MMS on Marshmallow. Can't tell if this is unique to Nexus 5 or if it happens to be a lot of Nexus 5 handsets because that's one of the few for which Marshmallow is available. If you have it, try uninstalling and then rebooting. Mine didn't work until I rebooted.

Unfortunately I can't post links due to not having posted enough here, but if you search productforums dot google dot com for the subject "Can't Send/Receive MMS on Nexus 5 after Android 6.0 Update" you will find more.

Thanks for the tip!

Was having the same problem, looks like the problem was PushBullet causing my issues. Uninstalled, rebooted and it is working fine now. :D

Thanks for this! I'm actually using the Nexus 6, and I was suffering from the same issue. Uninstalling PB was the solution indeed.

Having the same problem on my one plus one. MMS is not coming through only allowing you to download on stock messenger. Switch to text secure no problems. Tried Google messenger still could not receive MMS

I'm having the same issue on my AT&T 6P with Pushbullet. I uninstalled, but I still haven't been able to send MMS with either Messenger or Hangouts.

Pretty sure this is an app permissions thing. I double checked and Messenger didn't have the proper permissions, once I granted them everything works as it should.
