MMS Issues

My buddy has a Razr Maxx and I found today it seems I can't receive mms from him but he can from me. Anyone have any advice.

UPDATE

When they warn you about disabling core apps may cause problems they weren't kidding. I found out I couldn't recieve any mms because Samsung messenger apparently has to be enable for mms to work.

I was able to send mms through third party app but not receive because of how the Samsung messenger app is coded into the OS.

The Samsung messenger is hub for all thirty party apps to connect to. Third party messenger apps have some features that can only work through the core samsung messenge app. This can only be done with the core app enabled.
