MMS picture, tap to enlarge?

AT&T Note 3:

Until recently when I got an MMS Picture I could just tap to enlarge it within the messaging app.
Now I have to save it before I can tap to enlarge it in either Gallery or my pictures app Quick-Pic.
Any ideas on how I can get back to square one and just tap pic from within messaging app to enlarge?

Reinstall the older version of Messages if you've backed it up. (Or see if you can uninstall the update, using Applications Manager.) This is one of those things that Google throws in without saying anything when they "improve" the app.
