so you know i was on s7 i paid 9.99 on that nine email and calendar app one time for a one time license back on oct 18th 2016 to used hotmail/outlook main email because at the time didn't like outlook app i have inbox folder sync<-all i do is check and then i go on computer and sign into hotmail/outlook and delete i don't bother with replying emails btw
and when that memory was running low i got s20 plus and all i had to do download that app and everything was good even when i switched verizon to at & t got s25 plus phone download app install good
however back on dec 15 of this month seems problem i haven't gotten email all day but i remember got notify 10:08 am that day when i click to read it saying license expired which confused me because again this is a lifetime buying and i did this back in 2016 s7 phone no longer have to s20 no longer have and my only phone is s25 plus
the funny thing is it disappear and i was able to read the 2 emails i even sent an email myself for a test around 10:52<-home wifi and i got notify and was able to read no issues
so i email developer from 9 folder response was
In the recent version, the Google billing library was updated.
Please reboot your device and check the license again.
If you still have the issue after rebooting, please try reinstalling the app with the purchased Google account and check the license issue again.<- and i am license even got newest version

now i did reboot phone afterwards everything was good because i also went down to ky back on 18,19 sometimes i used wifi if can sometimes i do mobile data even was good up to christmas
however last night i went to planet fitness used their wifi<-i trend to still turn off mobile data anyways i didn't get any new emails until 4:09 and 4:23 in afternoon<-i didn't try to check until 4:50 and once again that license expired thing came up but went away i didn't restart i did get notify when i was after i order something walmart around 5:43 pm over there when i went to walmart for something i got notify 6:38 pm when came back home put back on wifi everything was still good because i got notify 1:11 am and 2:06 am amazon
now i know there are alot of complaints in app recently google play store

I was using this for quite a few years, I purchased a licence as it was a great app however it seems my lifetime purchase has stopped working and it will no longer sync to Office 365.

Nine has turned out to be the best email app I ever used. It is fast, stable, and very reliable. The handling of IMAP, Exchange, and Outlook accounts is excellent and the privacy approach gives me real peace of mind. Everything works as expected, without unnecessary features getting in the way. A professional tool that simply does its job very well.

excellent app that I have been using for several years on a lifetime license, today it refused to open and demanded a subscription fee. Noticed another comment saying a device reboot fixed issue. REBOOTED DEVICE AND WORKING AGAIN AS NORMAL.<-now i know this work because i did this back on 15 when 1st time i saw this
i was google why this is happening and ai claiming that Your 2016 license is safe. The issue is a temporary mismatch between the new December app update and your stuck September system update. Once you get the One UI 8.5 update in early 2026, system will finally update past September and the license errors should stop permanently

do you guys agree with this with so called google ai is telling me i haven't gotten any new emails notify as of yet today i supposed i might see this glitch again keep in mind it came up 15 and i never saw it again until past mon wifi planet fitness so am not sure will show up today or not see what happens
