Mms problems anyone?

This is my second device, which has the same problem as the first. Sending mms picture mail with photos taken from my phone seen to be hit or miss....most of the time it doesn't send at all....

Anyone else having this problem with their pic mail?

The MMS limit is 1MB. Maybe your pictures are too big?

Doesn't the mms app automatically compress the images to fit? Or maybe i should download a third party app like handcent

I'm not sure, I've never sent a picture over MMS. I know someone else on this or another forum was trying to send 1080p video over MMS, and that was definitely a no go.

EDIT: I just tried it, and the stock app does compress it.

Use Handcent for now. There is a bug in the stock messaging app that distorts photos when sent via MMS. Samsung is aware of the problem, and I imagine it will be addressed in the first update. So even though I like the stock messaging app, I'm using Handcent until they get that issue resolved. Pics send flawlessly in Handcent.
