So I just got my nexus couple days ago and was wondering what is the vest way to record a video and send it through mms. I know on HTC there was a setting specifically for mms but I don't see it with the nexus thanks for any help

Are you trying to get the best quality? I think the phone will downsample the video before sending it out via MMS so you shouldn't have to worry. If you have a second phone handy, you should try sending test videos.

Well I lowered the quality and it still didn't let me send it the only way I could do it was open the message app and then record but I'm hoping there's a easier way

It must be a small video, but go to your gallery, then pictures folder and long press on the video, you'll see the text messaging icon.

Not everyone has a smart phone, like my parents, they have multi media phones without email and I send them short videos.

I know how to send the video but it says file is to large to send and it was only a 10 second video

Well I successfully texted a video mms to myself, I used the stock app music studio to lower the quality of an existing video.

That said it looks worse than my lg flip phone's video would. It sent out at 1mb but came back at 296kb so I dunno what that's all about, so perhaps you could choose medium quality.

It was 13 seconds.

But was certainly a pia
