Mobile Data 3G Gone

So, yesterday I reset my phone due to a LOT of Force Closures. My phone was working fine but sometime this morning I noticed that my 3G indicator on my phone is gone and when I checked my Quick Settings app it stated the the 3G Mobile Date has no "APN Configured."
What is that and could that be the reason why my clock app has my current location of Providence, RI and not McLean, VA (my current location)?

Dial *228 and select option 2 to reprogram your roaming tables. Your phone will reboot when it's done.

3G should come back after that.

Thanks. The Roaming Data was the culprit. I had to uncheck both Roaming Data options and that fixed it.
