Mobile Data Charges

I need help from the forum.

Guys I am in Saudi arabia and using STC connection on Nexus 6p. Despite having restricted the mobile data usage I got a deduction from my pre-paid balance for SAR 0.50 when ever I moved away from WIFI. I called the service provider but you know the Saudi Arabia, customer service is like a non-sense.

Can anyone help me to get rid of this issue.

Welcome to Android Central! When you say you restricted mobile data usage, are you talking about the Restrict Background Data option, or are you turning off the mobile data completely (in the Settings>Data Usage menu)?
