Hi,

I wonder if anybody has experienced the same weird issue that happened to my mate 9. The issue is that the phone would lose mobile data after maybe one month of use from fresh factory reset and once it started happening, it can't be completely fixed without a factory reset. The mobile data would come back for about 1 minute or 2 after reboot/ shutdown-startup and it will stop working. It is not a problem that it can't pick up again because I was in a bad reception area. It has good reception and the phone is stationary. When it stops working, the IP address field in About phone->status becomes unavailable. I have a feeling that the mobile data sub-system has crashed or something.. Do you know if there is a way to restart the mobile data sub-system /modem without rebooting the phone? I also have the LTE discovery app which shows I had LTE signal but it just won't connect. I tried toggling the mobile data switch, data roaming switch,..etc and it just wouldn't work again until a reboot/shutdown - startup. Please advise.

Carrier: T-Mobile USA (Sim 1 only, Sim 2 slot is empty)

Try this.

settings> in the search type Mobile Network> press it then press it again till you see this. make sure Mobile data is always on.
