Mobile Defense on EVO

Just set Mobile Defense up on my EVO and had major issues. The UI wouldn't load after about 5 restarts and whenit finally did load it was so slow it would take 15-20 secs to perform any action. I uninstalled it and all is well. Theres a post on the Mobile Defense forums stating users are havin issues with the Evo and Mobile Defense so if you use MD you may want to hold of until this is worked out.

I was concerned about my phone so I went on their forum and found the post kschuyler was talking about. They said it's related to the Sprint air update and not an issue with the defense app.

Do we have to have the GPS turned on prior to someone snatching the EVO? or has that been changed now? I was reading on the MD forums that they were talking about having to root and install MD as a system application so that the GPS could be auto enabled if it wasn't already turned on when/if the phone is stolen.

I have the OTA update & MD running fine. Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the app on the handset?
