Moisture Detected from a single cable

So five days ago I dipped it in the pool for a second. Ya know, cuz why not? Since then I've had zero issues with it minus my car charger triggering the moisture detected warning when it is clearly dry. Just this one cable. Thoughts?

I saw another post of people complaining a single cable would cause that. I'd try a different brand cable.

It worked prior to dipping it in the juice though. It's bizarre. Are you able to link the previous post? Was there any sort of resolution besides going with a new cable?
