More durable than regular pebble?

I got the Pebble Time and am unhappy with the terrible scratching of the bezel.

I'm thinking of getting the pebble time Steel.

1) Will that solve the scratching problem,
2) Will a metal band end up scratching my macbook pro? (Would I be substituting one problem for another)?
