I still don't get how VZW is "screwing this up". If the phone is out prior to January 1st they will be doing exactly what they said they'd do regarding a release date. Why do people repeatedly ignore the facts here?
I give up..lol

Exactly!!This thread is pointless. Should be closed. Has no basis.

I agree it is pointless, that is the point.
You want facts? Verizon is always playing catchup. The EVO EVO3D SGS2 all released on the "lesser network" and Verizon sat on their @ss for a year and a half??? The Galaxy Nexus will be trumped by the GSIII 6 months later. Verizon is "screwing up" due to their stigma. Verizon is going the way of Apple. Milking their customer base with few choices.
Even assuming the Evo 3D is all that (and I personally don't) that has nothing to do with Verizon not giving a set date for the Nexus yet.
As has been stated the device has not been "delayed" it was never given a static release date only "before the end of the year" which is isn't yet. Verizon cant be held to the timetable of most of the rest of the world, remember the LTE Nexus is different hardware than the one that we have all seen Andrew on here (and other tech bloggers elsewhere) review. The devices are 95% the same but there are differences (LTE radio being the main one) that may require more testing.
I really don't want to jump on the "nexus is delayed derp conspiracy" but hoping you could clear this up for me: was the "it's coming by november" a rumor then? In the beginning it sounded official then people backed off it like they misheard. I want the TRUF!
Coming in November came from Google not Verizon. Verizon has (as far as I know) only said later this year/before the end of the year.

"catching up" to the EVO 3D? (No thanks, really.) Few choices?
Put down the crack pipe.

So my post went over your head. Fine. Nevermind the EVO since it is confusing you. Think of it this way: Verizon always being late to the party. See the party starts at 9:00pm and ends at 2:00am and VZW showing up at 1:55am and VZW says "Lets party" and everyone else is like "WTF??"
Since your not undestanding why I bring up the EVO ill state this bluntly taking 3 posts to help you comprehend: Verizon is sitting on their @ss once again with the release of this Galaxy Nexus. No I am not confused about anything I get what you are saying you think that the Evo 3D is an advanced device and it took VZW a log longer to get anything as good as it (you are entitled to this opinion even f it isn't shared). But my point is that this argument has nothing to do with the Nexus release date. Different OEMs and carriers have different timetables for things and yes sometimes Verizon waits to get theirs out, but in the end they end up wit a better device.
I think your illustration above exaggerates things quite a bit. If you don't like it you can go to another carrier: Sprint with their crappy coverage, AT&T with their slow LTE Roll-out, or T-Mobile, shortly about to be acquired (if not by AT&T then someone else) and gutted.
