Hello...I have a 6 Plus now. I really want to get the Note 4...missing Android. I LOVE the 6 Plus camera though...and that is my main phone purpose. I am willing to give up the apparent low light benefits of the 6 Plus. I really do not want to give up day time great light action shots though. I have seen a lot of GREAT pictures....but NONE of day time action. Can the Note 4 handle this situation? Kicking a ball, person running, kids, animals etc...Please post some pictures...hope to get Note 4 this weekend!! Thanks!!

Yes it can if you use sports mode. I have taken pictures of fast moving vehicles including motorcycles and I can report that it works well. unfortunately I deleted those shots, but i will take some more.

Here's a couple of fly bys of the grandkids on their bikes. Shot with Auto mode just to check the results, didn't try Sports mode.

Update: Just fyi - the originals are approx 9mb files shot at 16mp, the uploads got reduced to approx 980kb so there is some loss in quality.

Uh...I wouldn't consider little kids going SLOWLY on trikes in broad daylight a real good test of motion picture capture. Try cars on a highway going in low light and then get back to us...

Uh ok, but the reality (at least mine) is this is the type of pictures I would and do take.

Your slow little kiddy reality isn't gonna help Bob and his fast action shots of sports and people in fast movement reality

The OP's question was "Can the Note 4 handle this situation? Person running, kicking a ball, kids, animals, etc..." I think I provided an answer to want he asked, not what you suggest. It's ok if you don't like my answer or the results, it was not intended for you.

No worries, wouldn't expect a Dodge fan to have much common sense to begin with

In bright daylight, most definitely, sports shots in sports or burst mode are good.

And a great thorough answer...thanks !
