I was all in with Motorola when they refreshed their brand and stuck to mostly pure android phones starting with the moto x. I'm on Verizon, so I got the droid Maxx because of the huge battery and the near pure Google experience that was supposed to mean quick updates. The jump to kit Kat was fairly quick, but I'm now disappointed with the failure to deliver on promises. All moto x versions took forever to get lollipop, and their most current flagship for Verizon, the droid turbo, still doesn't have the latest software. The excuse? Exactly what they're saying about the 360 - can't get it to perform well. Interesting, considering a) quick updates were a major part of their rebranding, and b) the other manufacturers seem to be doing just fine getting their devices upgraded to lollipop (albeit with some ill effects but those are on Google, not the manufacturers).
