right on. I know thats how the Moto 360 face design winner was suppose to look, but when moto released it they took away the lower notification. Got my Metal band on, but taking out a few links took forever.

Does the replacement band come with the plastic spacers, that are now coming with the metal band watch?

Replacement comes with the plastic spacers, doesn't pull hair, it's nice and heavy(not too much tho) & I took mine to a jeweler and it took him 15 minutes to put on and add links so I wouldn't deal with installation myself - rather let a pro do it

They give you part but no tools. Its a 15 min job w te right tools. Around 48 from Amazon. I dint have the tools so i uses paper clips, mini hammer and pliers, If you are pretty handy person its doable, just push out the link and take out or add the links needed and push pins back in.

Hello All!
One of the biggest reasons I got my Moto360 was to use for health and fitness. Problem is a leather band is not the best thing for the gym (I know what my gym shoes smell like!), and the metal bands are heavy and pinch your arm hair. Because no options existed that I liked, I decided to create the band I wanted to wear with my Moto360....problem is I had to have them mass produced so I'm hoping other people will like them as well!

Not only did I make bands for the wrist...I made bands that are a 2mm max thickness to protect the watch also. You protect your smartphone. Why not your smartwatch?
Bands should be ready to ship next week in 6 colors for now. I just launched them on Kickstarter to get the first bands out so we can get some feedback! Please check them out and support us!

THANKS

I saw the silver metall 360 at a best buy today and tried it on. The band looks pretty good now I'm not sure if I should get the metal silver band or the cognac

so I have a theory, can I ask u do u have small wrist that caused the band to flex more?? essentially cracking d back

I have small (skinny?) wrists and was using the Pebble Steel band for about 2 months. I had cracks on all four of the corners where the band met the plastic back. That was my primary reason for switching to the Moto Official metal band with the plastic spacers. I no longer have concerns about the cracking spreading further.

One other advantage of the Official Moto band that I haven't seen discussed yet is it's ability to lay flat when you're not wearing it. This has allowed me to charge the 360 with many more qi chargers than the Pebble band, which was always a little rounded and propped the watch up too high to use other flat qi chargers.

Expensive? Yes, but that relative. To me it's much better quality, won't cause cracks and can charge easier so I find it a worthy purchase.

Loving my new cognac leather band.
