Moto G and KitKat update for Asia?

Anyone who is in Asia knows when we are getting the KitKat update on the MotoG?

I saw a post yesterday on the problems but can't find it again. But basically. Bad battery life, Slow applications, some people reporting speech issues. I'm not going to upgrade mine at present when the update is offered..
