Moto G audio blackout occasionally after connecting to Samsung 1100 bluetooth headset

I am using a Moto G with Kitkat version Android. Recently i started using samsung 1100 mono-bluetooth headset paired along with the Moto G. For few calls, it works well. then suddenly for other calls the audio seems to blackout for the person at other end/and sometimes for me also in the bluetooth headset as well as the handset device. Even if I disconnect the bluetooth there wont be any audio heard for the other person/for me. Then I have to restart the phone to resolve the same
