Moto G lock button

Has anyone with a moto g 2013 noticed that after the latest update, to unlock or lock the phone you have to press the lock button more than once. It is irritating and I just wondered if anyone else noticed or its just my phone.

Have you tried wiping the Cache Partition, sometimes said to be good practice after an update?
