Hello everyone, I'm not new to rooting but I'm having some issues. I have a moto g with boost mobile rooted with stock android 4.4.4. Well I'm deleting all my bloat wear and stock apps (contacts, sms, dialer) and I replaced my sms app with a few different apps and they work just fine for a few hours, but then start crashing and I can't receive or send text. I don't know what's going on but If I do a recovery and go back to before I replaced my stock messaging and it works again, I try to replace it again and it works with multiple apps for a little bit then starts crashing again and not letting me send text.
How can I replace my stock sms app with one like Textra (my fav so far) without my texting stopping. I've rooted every phone I've ever had and never had this problem. This moto g is giving me all kinds of problems that other phones haven't.
