Moto G2 - suddenly set getting hot & batter draining

My one year old MotoG2 - suddenly started to draining battery to zero% within 1/2 hour & also getting too hot on top right side.

Welcome to the forums. Check your battery stats and see if any app is using and unusual high percentage. Have you recently downloaded a new app or received a system update?
