Moto g5+ - US vs European version

Hi - I have essentially decided to get a Motorola g5+ but am debating whether to get an unlocked US version w/ 64/4 gb (xt1687) or the Euro version with 3/32 gb (xt1684). I will be using it primarily in Europe - mostly Belgium - but occasionally in USA. The only hesitation I have about getting the US model is that it is only compatible with 1 of 2 4g bands the Belgium carrier uses (whereas the euro model is compatible with both).

Will compatibility with just 1 of 2 4g bands significantly impact performance?
