Android Central Question

On the GB version page of Google's Pixel 3 tech specs there is under Channels put the following: "UMTS/HSPA+/HSDPA: Bands 1/2/4/5/8" This text is not on the US page, otherwise the pages are alike.

Does this mean there is a deffierence between the two models?

What is the purpose of the "UMTS/HSPA+/HSDPA: Bands 1/2/4/5/8"?

I live in Europe by the way.

Thanks for any help on the matter

The international version doesn't have all the bands used in USA. Also GSM only, won't work on Verizon or Sprint. Since you live in Europe get the international version. If one lives in us, get the US version. BUT I recall people buying the international Samsung variants due to unlocked bootloaders and faster processor performance. So international version must work pretty well in the US??
