Moto Maker shipping issues.

So I recently purchased a phone (Moto X 2nd gen) last month. No immediate problems with the phone. Although the screens are very fragile and I recommend to anyone who has one BUY A CASE! I finally got thing sorted out after I cracked my screen and ordered another phone. My initial order I didn't receive a FedEx tracking number till two days after I received my phone. Chalked it up to gremlins. Luckily I have signed up through FedEx to receive emails on any shipments under my name. On this order for my replacement device I ordered it last Thursday. Got an email from FedEx saying I was receiving a shipment from FedEx in China (shenzen). Checked online to see if Motorola's website had updated and called them too. To no surprise they have no record of any shipments. Anybody else had any issues with moto keeping you in the loop want to make sure I'm not crazy ? Also if anyone has had any success with calling them and complaining to them that would be helpful ie. What avenues of approach were taken.
