Is the shamu the nexus 6 or a nexus 6? I cant believe the next nexus would have a note sized screen?

That, I don't know. The last large phone I held was a OnePlus One. The Moto Nexus was quite a bit larger.

The one thing that may keep me from buying the x+1 is if the N6 is really nice. Though being on Verizon I doubt we will ever see another Nexus.

I don't think so, solely based on how thin the phone is, not to mention the custom backs (probably would have an issue going through wood, for instance). I can inquire, though.

It being in the N6 would be a better bet since the back is more generic. I think it was a little thicker, too, if I'm not mistaken.

They are putting it in the moto 360 so I would hope it's in the x+1 but good points.

In the 2nd pic the 2 look different to me the speaker grills look larger as do the bezels on the black one. Maybe the new X and G?

The new photos are just the screen and so you can't see the grill, etc... only the cutouts.

maybe an android silver, which may be a nexus-like device with a locked (and not unlockable) bootloader if it is on verizon.

I don't know. The device I saw (Shamu) was referred to as a nexus. I was 99% sure it was on VZW. It's probably the same device, though I don't know if it's VZW only.

Man. With the rumors of a Moto S Play and now a Droid Turbo, it has me guessing if come beginning of Sept I will get the x+1 or wait to see how the new devices pan out. The turbo has some rumored specs.

It's not a button, it's just a dimple.

Button and FP scanner were axed.

Seems to be the same for the plastic one too. Maybe that was their thing for the X+1, to have the dimple more prominent.

It's the same on both, just on the black one in the image, the dimple is black so it doesn't stand out as much.
