I'm ready for this beauty to arrive. I was going for "leather bound book"

I am thinking about going for something similar but maybe with bronze or red accents. Can you post pictures when it arrives? I want to see how the white face works with the cognac leather. Thanks much!

Does anyone have a navy blue plastic back and white front? This is an option that I'm considering, but I'd love to be able to see actual pics of it since I know that it's hard to trust the color rendition found on the motomaker site.

I just ordered it, white/navy/silver trim, and it's on the way home!
I'll show you the photo after receiving it, probably after 12/08!

I've always had all black or silver phones, and I'm a case guy anyway, so it will be mostly black from the get go. I like them to be understated tools, rather than flashy billboards screaming "steal me!"

You have 14 days from the day you received your phone, even it was designed in Moto Maker. They do not charge any restocking or shipping fees. And I'm not sure about the last question. The only thing that'll prevent you from returning the phone is water damage or a shattered screen.

I've heard someone say that the chalk back can get dirty and/or jeans can get blue dye on it. Have you noticed anything like that?

I put it right into a TPU case and I've only had it for 48 hours. It isnt a high-gloss material but it wipes clean and feels pretty smooth/non-porous. I've heard the same and am concerned about it, but too early for me to report and problems.

Slate back, royal blue accents, no custom boot screen, no custom engraving.

I was thinking about doing something more wild like a wood or red back with an engraving, but I eventually decided to go with the more conservative look.

I ordered a blue Hula case that I think will go perfectly with the back and blue accents I chose:

I got it Thursday and don't know whether to send it back or not. I'm not happy about the case situation. The one I got is translucent and it looks like there are no real clear cases out there. I'm paranoid about ruining it. Sure enough, my 2nd day of owning it I dropped it and it fell in a small puddle. Thankfully, the leather didn't stain and returned back to normal, but I'm wondering if I really want to worry about this. One of the reasons I chose a Moto X over the iPhone was because it is not fragile :-\ .

If I do send it back, it will probably be for Slate-black-black, or slate-bronze-black.

Case-Mate has a clear case called the Naked Tough Case. If I decide to go through with my Bamboo-white-silver order, that's the case I'm going to get. AT&T has it for $30 (it's $35 on the Case-Mate website)

For those that asked, the Navy Blue leather looks great, quite dark, but still blue. The trim looks slightly darker tinted than the picture, which I prefer. Over all, very happy with the color combo. Setting up the phone now, updated to Lollipop, now getting all my apps and accounts.

Blue/White/Silver. I should've went with a different trim color to give it more pop. Oh well.
