Quick update for anyone experiencing Moto App issues.
Been on the phone with Motorola and they want the phone to trade out. Not sure I'll do it as I'm 99% certain it's app related BUT if I can finagle my way into a "pure" phone I just might.
Went on a small vacation to visit family and used my phone for GPS as usual. 7.5 hours each way. Drive mode time totalled about 45 minutes........TOTAL. It seemed to like to kick in when I pulled in to get gas or hit city speeds. On the highway, nada.
Home mode is being MUCH more reliable though. I'd say it's working about 85% now but after 10-15 texts, it's still deciding to no longer hear me or not respond to "yes" or "no" for sending.
Motorola seems to be aware of some "issues" and are working on them. I can only hope they find a solution. Phone is still brilliant otherwise and I love it. Full day of shopping, sightseeing, pictures, etc. 11 hours of use, almost 4 hours of screen on time and still 15% battery at the end. Not bad little phone. Not bad.
