Moto X 2014 Does having a pin lock on your lock screen impact any of the moto features?

Debating getting a moto x. I will also be using the phone for work and the device admin I am required to install forces me to use a four digit pin to unlock the phone on the lock screen. Does anyone know if this would prevent the use of some of the moto software features?

I have my moto x 2014 encrypted and using for work. All features work fine.

I use a pin to unlock my phone and trusted devices works fine on both my 2013 and 2014 Moto X. You have to unlock with the pin initially, then as long as you're connected to the trusted device you no longer need the pin to unlock after locking the phone.

I use a pin to unlock my phone and trusted devices works fine on both my 2013 and 2014 Moto X. You have to unlock with the pin initially, then as long as you're connected to the trusted device you no longer need the pin to unlock after locking the phone.

My exchange policy greys out trusted devices on my 2013 x. Guess ymmv

Ah, I see. Hopefully someone can figure out a workaround. It's such a useful feature.
