Just got the new Moto X and added my Moto 360 as a trusted device to disable screen lock when the 360 is connected.
But when it is connected, I get a persistent notification saying "You're unlocked" in the shade, plus a little unlocked lock icon. I don't care that much about it being in the shade, but I don't want to have screen real estate taken up by that little lock icon.
Can I remove it? One option I have seen suggested is to disable notifications from the device settings. Will that mess up the app functionality?
