Ugh I have an iPhone 5 currently have had for about 14 months now and so ready to come back to android. But I'm stuck between which one. Right now it's between M8, LG3, and this new moto X. If they could just combine the 3 to make the superior phone! Each one has a little of what I want. I want great sound as I use my phone for music. I want great display watch movies a lot and take lots of pics of my 5 yr old son.

Moto X 2014 PreOrder Question

I am still under ATT's contract. I bought my Moto X 2013 last October. Have 1 year remaining. So not eligible for subsidy. However, I am willing to pay full price for the new 2014 version. Will the phone I order be the Moto X Pure Edition or will there be a full price version offered by ATT? Sorry never have done this before. Appreciate the help!

You could do either. But if you're going to pay full price, go for the pure edition. No bloatware or logo. And it'll have a higher resale value, if you decide to resell.

I'm on the fence as well, but not due to size. I have the s5 so to me this would be much better, but the camera is actually decent on the s5 which is the only thing I like about it. I'm very curious about the nexus, but I may get the Moto and sell it or keep it when the nexus comes out.

I plan on getting the Moto X and the Nexus. Then I may sell my G3. I still miss my N5 like a ghost limb.

Verizon won't allow the pure edition. It's already been said no u locked version will work for them for the 2014 version.

I'm going to hold off on being one of the early adopters. I want to see what the battery life and user experience is like on some reviews. I hope the camera is better, but it's not a deal breaker for me. I haven't used my camera much on the Nexus. Anyways, I think I may wait for Black Friday, which I hope will be like last year. First, I want to sell my Nexus 5. I'm deciding between the Note 4, Note Edge, Galaxy S5, and Moto X. It will be interesting to see what the new Nexus offers. If the battery life is better, and it goes to an AMOLED screen, then that may be on my radar. There are a couple of annoying things with the Nexus. I get a lot of battery drain randomly, and especially with Skype. I don't use it much, but once I hang up and forget to close the program, the battery level takes a nose dive.

I used this for the 2013 moto x and they seem to not allow us to use the same .edu email for a different phone(2014 moto x) which seems wrong to me.

Verizon won't allow the pure edition. It's already been said no u locked version will work for them for the 2014 version.

Are you thinking of the Dev Edition?
