Moto X 2014 Verizon activating problems

Just got my Motomaker MN in the mail and I'm sitting at the Verizon store now, the phone won't activate. We're up to 6 people involved in trying to figure this out!

I ported my number on Motomaker, and no one can figure out how that's supposed to work other than its just supposed top work and isn't!

Somehow the request to port my number has gone through, but not the issuance of a 2 year contract. The Verizon store has to cancel everything and start my SEP I again from scratch.
