Hi,

I've started having a problem with my Moto X (2014) since upgrading to Lollipop (or shortly after). When I received a voicemail I cannot get rid of the notification unless I restart my phone.

I'm using my phone in the UK on the EE 4G network. I'm using Android 5.0 which is the latest update available.

Having read through advice given to others in this and other forums and spoken to Motorola customer support, I've tried the following:

1. Leaving myself an additional message, listening to it, deleting it. The new voicemail notification arrives but does not clear after deleting the message.

2. Rebooting to safe mode which clears the notification on the reboot, but once I have another voicemail the same thing happens again. This rules out one of my third party apps causing the problem.

3. Clearing all the app defaults.

Any ideas out there as this is a really annoying issue and Motorola don't seem to have an answer?

Thanks everyone!

How much time are you giving it to clear out? I am in on Tmobile in the US and it takes a good couple minutes for my notification to clear out after listening to the voicemail.

It used to clear in a few of minutes but now I have left it for hours and it still doesn't clear.

ATT version. Same Problem. Cleared cache (from recovery), cleared Phone app data, left a voicemail and listened and still I have notification
