not trying to start any trouble, just curious... why is this such a big deal? i i have never had the need to talk on a phone while browsing the internet.

just out of curiousity, i called myself from a land line and i can still browse the internet while talking to myself. (using AT&T)

My original Moto X can do voice calls & data at the same time. Sometimes when I'm talking to my boss I need to look up an address on Maps while were talking. I also sometimes need to go to a website & check materials pricing or availability while talking. If I am sitting on hold for a while for some reason, I like to check G+, Android Central or Twitter too. These are just a few examples of how I use this functionality.

This is a Verizon thing. So no you won't be affected by it on AT&T. The subject should probably reflect that....
