Moto X accessories

I was very excited about getting my new Moto X. Now, I wanted to get accessories like a case, desktop charger, glass screen protector and such. Is it just me or are the accessories for this device very sparse? When I do a search on Amazon, I cannot seem to find much.

I also wanted to get the Micro Charger and can only seem to get that from the Motorola site but, they are all sold out.

I know some of these results aren't going to be OEM, but I have had great results with the stuff I have bought on Amazon.

That is a search for the original Moto X. The OP is looking for accessories for the 2nd gen Moto X. And he's right, they are sparse right now for this device.

And its been out a while. The device might not get the same great accessory support that the Moto X 2013 got. Not sure why not but it seems to be going that way. ><

You're right Dennis... very sparse. I did a search and this search is only 3 pages compared to the 20 plus pages for the first generation. Thanks for the clarification.

Manufacturers look at past, current and projected sales volume in making decisions about marketing accessories. Unfortunately MOTO X (2014) is expected to generate the level of demand for accessories as the new Galaxy Note 4. So the was no rush to be ready to market accessories for our favorite phone. The amount available will increase with the demand, but even the beloved original MOTO X does not many accessories compared to the iPhone or Galaxy phones.

Yeah, options are slim but it's still better than my old Droid 4.

Also, as I was looking some of the description do not state whether they are for the Moto X old version or new version. Do you think that it will improve? I know I like to change cases a lot.

To be honest I kind of remember it taking a while for vendors like Amazon to list accessories for the 2013 Moto X. What I really wish is if Moto had given the 2014 Moto X a different name, since you really do have to be careful you aren't getting an accessory for the 2013 version.
