I never want another phone that is bigger than the X. I said that after my last phone, which was the 4.3" HTC Rezound, and didn't think I'd have any option but to get something bigger. Then the X came out and answered my prayers. Best screen to body size ratio and best overall phone I've had. Won't be upgrading anytime soon.

When the S5 was announced I was really disappointed but that disappointment has eased a tiny bit. It's a decent phone and quite an upgrade over the S3.

Also changed from a Rezound to the X. I was prepared to make my fingers grow a half an inch longer to accomodate most of the devices out there now, but it was nice not to have to after all....

I love the size of the Moto X that was one of the reasons I purchased it. The pocketablity

I have the s3 since release. I love it. Will be getting the s5 Friday.

Played with the moto X, didn't really see what's so got about it.

I know it is more stock. But call me crazy, I don't like stock android that much

Installed CyanogenMod on my s3. Had it on for a week and went back to touchwiz. Tw has a lot more features than stock. I like it more

I understand. I wasn't crazy about stock Android til probably Jelly Bean, I was more than happy to have Sense on my previous phones.

But I'm a convert, I'm really liking Kit Kat, especially with Moto's enhancements!

I'm sure you'll love the S5, it's also a great device, and TW is familiar to you.

The Moto X really draws people that prefer it's form factor. And the more you use Active Notifications, Touchless Controls, etc the more it hooks you in.

Sunburned, I agree wholeheartedly. I really liked the size of the Rezound and didn't want to go bigger. But I definitely wanted lighter!

The Moto X physically is like a refined Rezound, what I would've hoped for from a sequel from HTC. Same height and width, but lighter, thinner, AND with a bigger battery!

I've got to say I'm not a big fan of any Android device with a manufacturer skin over the OS. Android the way Google intended it is beautiful and simple. I like how Motorola added features to set the phone apart and kept the ui vanilla

My galaxy s4 had issues for the second time and it was out of warrantee so I bought the moto x for full price. The phone doesn't have the newest processor or a 1080p screen, but it's a million times better than the s4 I had before and I can't see myself replacing it any time soon.

The M8 looks and feels really nice. But, the size of the X is just perfect for me.. as are the added features. Maybe in the next version of Motomaker, they'll have an aluminum back or something... not like this phone has wireless charging anyway.

If HTC and Samsung treated their "minis" like Motorola (DROID ULTRA/DROID MINI) and Sony (Z1/Z1 Compact), I'd be open to considering them.

I've read that the Z1 Compact is a really nice phone. I wish it were more widely available.

I have had the HTC M7...speakers were great but otherwise hated the phone. It was slippery and battery life was so-so. I just came from a Samsung S4. That was the worst phone I have ever owned. Bloatware, charging issues, horrid battery life. Got my Moto X last night and could not be happier. So the M8 and S5 have no appeal to me.
