Moto X is not updating to 4.4.2

Would anyone have any idea why my Moto X is failing to update to 4.4.2 from 4.4? I am on wifi and it just still is failing. Anyone have any ideas?

Ok, I put the screenshot there. After the phone restarts it shows the android guy and says error.

I tried to update it manually through recovery on the phone and that still didn't work. I'm really not sure what else to do.

I am trying to factory reset it and try again

What service provider? Did it just download it today? Are you rooted?

I have Verizon, it keeps downloading the update but it won't install it. I am not rooted either.

I called Motorola and I tried doing it through recovery and on the computer through MDM and no luck. Not really sure what the deal is here.

At this point, I would take it in to Verizon (stock) or call Motorola (custom) again. You may need to get it replaced if you are unable to get it to update. I would also be firm about getting it replaced as it can't be that old.

I am sending it to Motorola for warranty repair/replacement. Filled it out online this morning.

I traded my iPhone 5c for it. He didn't mention anything about it being rooted so I assumed that it wasn't.

You can follow these instructions on this website to flash stock firmware to your device using rsd lite. Save all of your data first, you will lose everything. When it's done it will be like it was out of the box.
