If 'nexus-timing updates or bust' was the deal breaker why didn't you get a nexus in the first place? Just curious. Moto was never supposed to get them even *this* fast.

I think its more the fact that everyone else has the update in the US but Sprint. If no one had it I doubt you'd see as much complaining. Misery loves company!

There's not ETA for Sprint yet. Even the Motomaker website lists the dates for the other carriers, but it's "Coming soon" for Sprint. As long as they work out any kinks/bugs before they release, I don't mind waiting a few days-week.

WOW? what?s up with all the whining? I?ve received the update on both my Nexus 7?s and my Nexus 10 and you can?t tell the difference. I actually saw where there was an issue and they are already sending another updated out for the Nexus devices. I would much rather wait for the testing to be completed before they just push it out. What is it about KK you really want so much?

There really hasn't been much noticeable difference in day-to-day usability between JB and Kit Kat--not for me, anyway. People just want to be on the latest version in order to know that they're up to date.

Believe me, I just returned a nexus 5 today. The moto x is just the best phone out there right now. Just my opinion but I've tried the HTC one, the Nexus 5, and the Moto X twice on this last month and the Moto is my favorite.
