Moto X - Ok Sprint..., Let's Go!

Having both used the Moto X and the Nexus 5 for about a week each you won't notice much of a difference in 4.4, It's really not that big of a deal. The only thing that you will notice is the dialer which is pretty cool when it automatically looks up who's calling you when they are not in your contacts. But that's it.

You should also know that some of my apps didn't work so great on the Nexus 5. My email app Kaiten (based on K-9) hid the first 3 lines on all my emails, something that other people complained about on their app store. I had to reply to an email in order to read it, that way I could scroll down to the message and read it. I really could care less about 4.4 and you will too :)

Maybe if people listen to the podcast where they say that the sprint version will take longer because of wallet and Google voice they could stop the crying. I'd rather them give me a update that is close to problem free opposed to having to send out constant bug fixes. Just me.

Ding ding ding, exactly. I want Voice and Wallet to work (I use them daily) when the update comes and have NO problem waiting for Google and Sprint to get it right or at least attempt to.

BTW I have not yet had anyone in the "real" world ask me what OS my X is running

Please, Sprint is such a screwed up company. I'm not holding my breadth for getting KitKat anytime soon.

I hope with 4.4 they fix the issue with voice mail notifications and Hangouts. If it does not, then hold on to it and get it right.

I want the update to be done correctly and I don't want anyone to "rush" it out just because others have it but........ Sprint once again drops the ball when it comes to an update. It does not matter what the reason is, Sprint can't seem to be number one on any customer service issues....... again.

We get it. Really what will this update provide that you don't have now. Pretty much nothing. I have it on my Nexus 7 and I see no real difference then the previous version. Nine days behind really bfd.

Every one forgot that sprint one of the first with that camera and phone quality update. Be patient guys. I'm sure they are close and they are probably on some more stuff that the other carriers did not have to deal with.

So can anyone confirm if the PhoneArena artical is legit? Did anyone else get a invite?

As the article said, there is a confidentiality agreement in order to participate in the soak test.

If 'nexus-timing updates or bust' was the deal breaker why didn't you get a nexus in the first place? Just curious. Moto was never supposed to get them even *this* fast.
