Moto X sound problems

My Moto X loses sound from time to time, it won't reproduce any kind of sound. I need to power off and back on. Any ideas what can it be?? I still have jelly bean 4.2.2

It's a known issue. I haven't seen it since the 4.4 update. Got it all the time with 4.2.

Also my sounds would get extremely dim at times on 4.2 which 4.4 cleared up.

Thanks dude, so you recommend going to 4.4? In Mexico we still haven't got it, though I can install it manually but I'll lose warranty.

Do you use any apps such as TextPlus? This is known to cause issues when it has access to make calls.

Nope, no TextPlus. Anyway i'll go 4.4 as tony said, this problem got away with 4.4

I think just wait it out. Punit Soni stated on G+ soon for Mexico. Don't void the warranty, rebooting the phone is easy to do for the time being.
