I wouldn't call it slippery, but if you're going for grip it isn't ideal ... it's definitely a looker though, if you're going for the wow factor it's a solid choice.

This is a tough decision. In the short term and for the wow factor, it seems leather and wood options are best. For practical use and long term wear and tear, silicon might be the best choice. I like the improved grip the silicon offers, which is important for one handed use with a big phone. It doesn't seem to show prints and would hopefully hold up over time quite well. Is it soft? Or more like the first generation Moto x?

All the customization available with the Moto X along with the good hardware, clean OS, timely updates and good price make this an awesome choice for my next phone. Gonna wait to see what comes from the Nexus line but Moto has really nailed it here. I'll be lookin' for some colors to match my Steelers and Pirates but you guys have some great ideas for color combos.

Thinking about the leather options now if the black lens isn't available for the gold frame.

Maybe black lens, gold accents and cognac leather?

Or maybe blue accents?

I know it is personal and I actually prefer the black front but after I watch more of Moto X pure on YouTube more and more I feel like the white front is very nice..

What do you think? What color combination do u have in mind?

Hey Moto: What are you waiting for in opening Motomaker to design the Moto X Style/Pure, etc?? You have the software in place. You can start stacking orders and fulfill them when you actually release the phone to the public. I don't get it.

I usually prefer black front bezels on phones and like having the entire face match when the phone is off. That said, I like the lighter backs on the Moto X style so I would probably go with the untreated aluminum trim with a bamboo or light grey silicone back.

I always want a white front, but once I get it I always prefer black. I had a white note 4 and a white lg g2 and a white 2014 x, all got sold for black versions.

Completely agree. I usually go for black and keep wanting to try white phones but those sensors look funny all exposed. Will go black front

White stands out and looks nice with all colors. On white fingerprints are not so noticeable I always had black front phones this time I choose white front with raspberry or lime back

I go back and forth depending on what the rest of the phone looks like and how it matches. For the XPE, I'll get a Black Front if I get the Black Leather or White front if I get the bamboo.
